Ingredients

25g, finely grated Cheddar cheese
25g, finely grated Parmesan cheese
120g/ 8 rashers Unsmoked dry-cure streaky bacon
300g Pasta, e.g. fusilli
3 Eggs
150g Frozen peas

Fill a large pan with water and place over a high heat and allow to come to a boil. Add the pasta to the water and allow to cook until tender.

Slice the bacon into thin chunks and fry until golden brown. Add the frozen peas to the pan and allow to thaw and lightly cook. Set aside.

In a bowl, beat the eggs. Mix in the grated cheese.

When the pasta is cooked and drained, return the pasta to the warm pan and add the cheesy egg mixture and the bacon and peas. Continue to mix the egg through the hot pasta for 5 minutes and allow the egg to cook and the cheese to melt.

Serve in bowls with cracked black pepper.
