150g ball Mozerella

Gnocchi Bake

    Directions

    Easy peasy. Can be knocked together in 5 minutes if you use a batch of my Roasted tomato and garlic sauce. I think this is delicious with a fresh rocket salad on the side but obviously this might just be for the adults if your kids aren’t keen on its peppery taste. Any veg or salad on the side would be delicious.

    This recipe is enough for a family of 4.

    In a large frying pan or shallow pot, gently heat the tomato sauce until simmering. Add the gnocchi and simmer for 5 minutes.

    Place the gnocchi & sauce into an oven proof dish. Scatter with sliced mozerella. Place in a pre-heated oven for around 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, switch the oven to grill and allow to brown the top of the cheese until crisp.

    Serve with rocket salad or vegetables and garlic bread.
