    This is a really quick recipe for classic basil pesto which I use in both the Green eggs & Ham Frittata recipe as well as the Primavera Pesto Pasta. The quantity of pesto made here is enough to make both dishes but you could always double up the recipe and freeze it in batches for later dinners. It’s also so much fresher and tastier in flavour than the jarred version and surprisingly just as popular in my household!

    Toast the pine nuts
